Replacing the subdued styling of its predecessor, the exterior features an assertive, imposing front grille flanked by sleek modern LED headlights and dark wheel-arch cladding. Silver side steps, roof rails, and standard 18-inch alloy wheels give it a purposeful stance.

Powered by a 2.2-litre turbo diesel engine producing 202 PS and 400 Nm of torque, the Musso Rhino offers plenty of low-end pull. Mated to a smooth six-speed automatic gearbox, it cruises quietly and confidently on open roads, though its heavy-duty leaf-spring suspension can feel firm when unladen.

Practicality is where the Musso Rhino outclasses most rivals, boasting market-leading workhorse capabilities. It is one of the few pickups capable of towing a maximum 3,500 kg trailer while simultaneously carrying a full 1,090 kg bed payload. Choosing the extended Rhino+ variant stretches the bed to 1.61 metres, increasing cargo volume to a class-topping 1,262 litres and payload to 1,200 kg.
